The Web Application Developer is responsible for enhancing and maintaining MIAC’s web applications, including a collateral management system and trading platform, within a small web development team. You’ll have a significant autonomy in your work; the position will be managed as part of a cross-functional team led by the business sponsors for each specific development project assigned to you.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a distributed, collaborative, and innovative team
  • Develop enterprise-class web applications and maintain installation, configuration, and support of web services
  • Understand and work within an Agile SDLC
  • Troubleshoot with end users
  • Build partnerships and collaborate with other developers, designers, and clients to filed integrated web-based solutions


The candidate should have working knowledge of a variety of concepts,practice, and procedures including:


  • Angular Framework
  • HTML5, CSS3 (SASS and LESS a plus)
  • Bootstrap/Angular Material
  • .NET Framework/C# (.NET Core a plus)
  • RESTful Web API
  • Entity Framework (EF Core a plus)
  • SQL Server
  • Web Security
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies/JIRA
  • Practice working with source control management (Git or TFS)
  • Experience with federated identity/authentication methods (OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills


  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • Experience working with Azure/AWS
  • Practice with messaging queuing systems (RabbitMQ, MSMQ, etc)
  • Knowledge of blockchain
  • Understanding of mortgage industry
