So what’s a hackathon?

A hackathon is an event where developers of all skill levels gather together to learn, pursue new projects, and generally have an awesome time. While the word “hack” has such a negative connotation these days, we strive to bring it a new meaning: the creation of exciting and innovative products in unprecedented ways.

How does this work?

LehighHacks is a 36 hour event from December 2nd – December 3rd, 2016 and will be held at The Fairchild-Martindale Library.

Who is judging?

Judges will be comprised of representatives from our corporate partners. This provides great opportunities for all teams to demonstrate their skills and develop their professional network.

What is the judging process?

At the conclusion of hacking, teams will present their projects in a science fair/expo environment as judges walk around. The top 10 teams, as selected by the judges, will then pitch their projects on stage to determine a final winner.
