Data Wrangling Process
Raw data is imported into DataRaptor and mapped into working tables using a field mapping process. Source data loads and remains intact to provide a clear audit trail.
Imported data is examined for quality and completeness. Through user-defined audit rules, missing information can be identified, incorrect fields correct, and new data can be calculated from existing data fields.
From a database of loans, and based on user-defined characteristics, smaller pools or tranches of loans with similar characteristics are created. During the stratification process, data is aggregated from asset to repline.
