About the Role

The Senior Software Developer plays a critical role in the day-to-day management and development of a comprehensive software solution supporting the banking and lending industries. This position requires a solid understanding of software development principles, a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of developers in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

This position can be Remote, or candidate may choose a Hybrid/Flex option working from any of MIAC’s US-based offices including Bethlehem PA, NYC or Charlotte, NC.

Desired Qualifications:

Candidate should be well-versed in a variety of development concepts, practices and procedures including:

Strong working knowledge of the following frameworks:

  • Windows
  • C# (.Net Core 8+)
  • ASP.Net Core
  • Entity Framework 6+
  • JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS
  • Angular 2+
  • SQL
  • Git

Familiarity with the following technologies:

  • SignalR
  • OAuth, OIDC
  • JIRA, and other Atlassian platforms such as Confluence and Bitbucket
  • Cloud computer platforms including Azure and AWS

Experience and Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of experience in software development with experience in financial services; specific experience in mortgage lending strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage small development team including assigning and monitoring tasks, reviewing pull requests, and troubleshooting issues
  • Self-starter with capable of learning new applications and processes quickly
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate with other developers, designers, and clients
